PROTO PROG --- Early progressive rock refers to the formative period of the genre, roughly spanning 1967 to 1972, when rock musicians began to expand beyond conventional pop song structures into more ambitious, experimental and compositionally sophisticated forms. Emerging from the psychedelic era, these bands fused rock instrumentation with influences drawn from classical music, jazz, folk, avant-garde, and film soundtracks.

Soft, melodic, pastoral prog with beautiful arrangements.
Perfect for fans of Camel and Fantasy.
Gentle but sophisticated, the album is full of memorable hooks and warm harmonies.
